Board Actions
2023-24 Peach County School Calendar Approval
The School Board approved Option I of the Draft 2023-24 Peach County Schools Calendar. For more information, click here.
The School Board approved the FY22 SPLOST Schedule. Annual submission of the FY22 SPLOST Schedule to the Georgia Department of Audits and Accounting is required. The SPLOST Schedule will be advertised on the district website and in the legal organ, as required. For more information, click here.
The School Board approved Byron Elementary School Renovations/Architectural Design. The renovations are a fulfillment of Peach County Board of Education's FY23 Five-Year Local Facility Plan for renovations at Byron Elementary School. For more information, click here.
The School Board approved the purchase of new playground equipment for Kay Road Elementary School and Hunt Elementary School. The equipment will be replaced due to age and safety concerns of the current equipment. For more information, click here.
The School Board approved the contract with James R. Buckley and Associates for the CTAE classroom renovations/modifications for Culinary Arts and Cosmetology at the old Peach County High School (Bldg B). For more information, click here.
The School Board approved the bid from LA Gas Propane for the purchase of propane for Peach County Schools' Transportation Department. For more information, click here.
The School Board approved the request to purchase three (3) new Blue Bird buses. For more information, click here.
The School Board approved the Superintendent's Personnel Report. For more information, click here.
School Board Recognitions
Gage Hall, Naveah Joyner, Za'nya Fannin, and Blane Nash, was recognized and presented a Certificate of Outstanding Achievement. Freshway Market in Byron, Georgia, were also recognized and presented a Certificate of Outstanding Service for their continued support of Peach County Schools

Justia Robinson, a FVMS 8th grade student, was recognized and presented a Certificate of Outstanding Achievement for her strong leadership qualities. Academically, she exceeds expectations, and her behavior is exemplary. She rises to the occasion and puts forth her best efforts. Mrs. Mareka Ross and Mr. Derrick Hill were also recognized and presented Certificates of Outstanding Service for their continued support of Peach County Schools. Through their efforts, along with many others, they assist with pre-game and post-game meals to student athletes. They have also organized fundraising events and assisted in transporting equipment to the games.
Peach County High School
Ariana Lowe, a PCHS senior, was recognized and presented a Certificate of Outstanding Achievement for her efforts to go above and beyond. Ariana is thoughtful, respectful, pleasant, and she demonstrates strength of character. On The Mark Printing was also recognized and presented a Certificate of Outstanding Service for their continued support of Peach County Schools.
